Before and After Care
The Before and After Care option lets you create a camp that covers your work day while extending your child’s scientific exploration! Before and After Care runs from 8:30 to 9:00 am and from 4:00 to 5:30pm
At the Science Museum camps, once Mad Science is over, your child will discover fascinating new worlds through the exclusive viewing of three IMAX films and supervised access to the Science Museum’s exhibits. Other activities may include indoor and outdoor games, videos, arts and crafts projects, nature hikes and more! This extended care takes place each day from 8:30 to 9:00 am and from 4:00 to 5:30pm. Regular Mad Science camp programming will take place from 9am to 4pm each day. The Before and After Care option is NOT available for half-day camps. Please note: Before and After Care will be supervised recreation which does not include additional Mad Science programming. IMAX films typically occur between 4pm and 5pm so your child may not be available for pick up until after 5pm. An additional charge of $49 per camp will apply. There is no discount for partial usage of this program. You must enroll for both the camp session AND the corresponding Before and After Care session.
