Fire and Ice: Explore the extremes of hot and cold. We present combustion in several captivating demonstrations. Watch the instantaneous burning of flash paper, see the corks fly from our alcohol cannons, hear the combustion produced roar of the super boomer, and more. Then switch to the ultra-cold of dry ice. We introduce the concept of sublimation, demonstrate the physical and chemical properties of dry ice through several dramatic demonstrations, and end our presentation by covering the floor with dry ice fog!
Great Gases!: Experience the amazing world of gasses. Discover the properties of the air around us. See the force of air demonstrated by the inseparable Magdeburg sphere and the pop bottle crush. Witness the effect of Bernoulli's principle with our levitating beach ball and the giant TP launch. See the use of high pressure gas in our confetti cannons. Someone will have the opportunity to take a ride on the Mad Science hovercraft. Watch hot air launch a trash bag. And that's not all.
Captivating Chemistry: A marvelous potpourri of chemistry demonstrations. The sparks will fly from the thermite balls. Watch a glass flask transformed into a silver ball. See polymer chemistry in action as we produce super slime. The foam will erupt from our catalyzed peroxide decomposition. A volunteer will experience the remarkable properties of a polymeric super-absorber. Witness a wig form collapse when an organic solvent is applied. And much, much more.
