Mad Science workshops allow you to avoid the hassles of a traditional field trip. Without buses, insurance, permission forms, and medication to worry about, your costs, headaches, and lost class time are minimized. Let us come to you.

Through our fun, inquiry-based format, children become intrigued with fundamental concepts such as Newton's laws of motion and Bernoulli's principle.

Pricing: from $5.50 per child
50-60 minute workshops cost $5.50 per student for schools booking 4 or more workshops.

For schools booking less than 4 workshops, the cost is $6.50 per student. A minimum charge for 15 students will apply.

NEW  Topics that appear in bold italics are available as a 60 minute program OR a 100 min program for an additional $3.00/student.

All prices include the presentation, a teacher resource package (see sample)  and a take-home experiment for each student. Parent volunteers are not required to facilitate the program. Due to the hands-on nature of the workshops, classes cannot be combined. Max group size for K – 3 is 25 and max group size for 4 – 8 is 30.

A travel charge may apply to bookings outside of the London area. GST is in addition to stated prices. Note: in the past, Mad Science would adjust the invoice on the day of the program to reflect how many children were actually in attendance. In order to accommodate the savings that our 2009 pricing provides to schools, we unfortunately cannot continue that practice. Takehomes for missing students will however be left with the teacher.
