After School Program Instructor   Job Description Work with small groups of kids (15-20), teaching them exciting new science topics and encouraging them to discover and explore through cool demonstartions and hands-on activities. Programs include After-School Science Programs, In-Class Field Trips, and Pre-School Workshops. Use inquiry base learning and standards correlated science workshops. Be sure to check out our video to see MAD SCIENCE instructors in action!   Requirements ~Experience with groups of children age 6-11 ~Reliable transportation ~Excellent verbal communication skills ~An OUTGOING, FUN and LOVING personality ~Lots and lots of ENERGY NO SCIENCE BACKGROUND REQUIRED. We do the training! CLASS INSTRUCTORS should have 2-3 weekday afternoons per week available. We cannot hire anyone with less than 2 afternoons available per week.
