What is the cost of a Mad Science Party?
How many children can attend?
Although our standard price is based on ten children, you can have as many or as little as you like but you have to pay a little bit more for each additional guest.
What does a typical Mad Science Party involve?
Interaction is the very foundation of a Mad Science Party as we realise that a group of children will not sit for any length of time simply watching science demonstrations.
We always start with a magic trick and explain the difference between magic and science! The magic trick is always a winner with the children. Each birthday party has an overarching scientific theme, for example, Air Blast, where most of the experiments are related to air pressure.
Each party will finish with a hands-on experiment where the children make their own polymers; slime, putty or bouncing balls. Sometimes diffraction glasses can also be fun.
A typical party involves ten distinct experiments, but the exact number of experiments we manage to demonstrate depends mostly on the level of interaction and the audiences desire to see it again, but rest assured there will be plenty to keep children mesmerised for an hour.
