Below you will find the Mad Science Summer Kamp 2009 offerings.  There are so many exciting choices you may not know where to begin!  Please take a few minutes to browse our topics and activities. We have 6 weeks of fun, crazy, wild science at several locations. Plan to attend all of them for a positively Mad Summer of Science!

Full day Kamps run 9:00am to 4:00pm.  Half Day Kamps run 9:00am to 12:00pm for AM sessions or 1:00pm to 4:00pm for PM sessions.  Register for both Half Day Sessions for a full day of Science Maddness!

Major Nature (ages 6-12) - Full Day
Do you enjoy excitement and adventure and danger? Ok... Well maybe not danger but some really kool stuff!!! Come join us for our 5 Day Major Nature Club and walk on the wild side! You will traverse the land as you explore nature and its many beasts and you’ll discover new and exciting things everyday! You will be able to track animals, build bird habitats, and ever mix your own kind of birdseed!! Watch out though as you test for Acid Rain!!! Create your own bug habitat and even see what an owl has for lunch!! You’ll also work on your very own Crystal Garden!! You don’t want to miss out so come join us at Mad Science as we leave the lab behind and enter into... THE WILD!!!

Rockin' Rockets (ages 6-12)- Half Day
Blast off in this exciting camp! Together we will journey into space with rockets!! Investigate gravity and Newton’s Law of Motion in this fun filled camp. We will work to build two of our very own Rockets to take home as well as launch pads and remotes. This camp is what we call a 3, 2, 1...Blast off!!!

Advanced Radical Robotics
(ages 7-12) - Half Day
Danger! Danger Mad Scientist, Danger! Alright well not really danger but some very kool stuff! We are going to roll our way into Advanced robotics! We will take apart and analyze the differences between us and our mechanical counter parts! We will then perfect our own real robots to take home! Join us as we experiment with the nuts and bolts of the world around us.
