CURRENT ECS WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE:
Slippery Science: Let's talk molecules, in particular polymers. All of the students will make some slime to take home too!
Bubbling Potions: Have a gas as we explore the three states of matter and what makes Dry Ice soooo cool.
Dinosaurs: Examine real fossil casts and the differences in the teeth of herbivores and carnivores. Each student will also cast their very own T-Rex tooth.
Keep in Touch: We will show your students how sensitive their fingertips are by experiencing how difficult it is to identify objects when these senses are dulled.
Mmmm...Taste: Students will discover the delicious biology behind their taste buds.
NEW!!! Bugs!: Get en"grossed" in bugs. Learn about pollination, anatomy, defense systems and how these creepy creatures adapt. Includes a Mad Science Insect-a-Vision for each student to see from an insect's point of view.
NEW!!! Science of Toys: Toys are more than just fun - they're scienc! Through toy-themed activity centres, students learn about motors, energy and the centre of gravity. Each Student will also get their own Mad Science Spring Thing.
