 Our spectacular science-themed shows are designed to amaze and entertain young audiences of any size. Children can conjure foggy dry ice storms, float on a Mad Science hovercraft, watch a foam factory at work, create super bouncy balls, make magic mud, alter sound waves, and so much more! Mad Science Events are ideal for school assemblies, corporate events and community centers, and can be customized to suit any group size, budget or time frame. Mad Science Shows are...
Educational and entertaining with fascinating science demonstrations such as chemical reactions, states of matter, bubbling potions, and amazing air pressure experiments. We get the audience involved and have volunteers assist the Mad Scientist.
Designed for children in grades K through 5th, with each presentation tailored to the age of the children present.
Appropriate for audiences of up to 300 children with high energy Mad Scientists engaging young minds with amazing science.
Very affordable with 40 minute and 60 minute formats as well as savings for multiple shows scheduled on the same day.
Show Themes Include:
"Fire and Ice"
This highly interactive show includes fascinating science demonstrations of bubbling potions, fire, and more. The audience will explore observations and hypotheses, and the Mad Scientist will conduct experiments with "Eggbert", a flamboyant egg. Children will be on edge of their seats when we reveal how a magician makes fire disappear and mesmerized by ice that doesn't melt. They will be amazed by bubbling potions, our Mad Science Shower raining down on them, a special movie effect and a Dragon's Breath. The entire audience will shout out "Swoosh, Woosh and Ahh" to help the Mad Scientist vaporize a flammable liquid!
"Up, Up and Away"
This exciting show is all about the pressure we live with every day—Air Pressure! Children selected from the audience will assist the Mad Scientist with Bernoulli's Paperwork when they try to tame toilet paper as it unravels and fly's away and test their ability to seperate and Magdeburg sphere. Selected volunteers will help launch an indoor hot air balloon and help answer questions about distribution of forces with Dixie Cups and the Mad Science Hovercraft. Everyone will be amazed by our vortex generators when we demonstrate Newton's 1st law of inertia with invisible air and with giant smoke rings that fly over the crowd.
"Spin, Pop, Boom"
The audience will be amazed when the Mad Scientist is able to defy gravity in this energetic and spectacular special event. The children will be enthralled with the exotic sounds of the didgeridoo tubes. They will watch as the Mad Scientist creates an extra hand, to help with some of the more complicated experiments. Unleashing a Genie in a Bottle and an explosion of foam will help to end this event and leave the audience begging for more.
