Bugs:
Interactive and hands on activities will assist pre-schoolers on their investigation of BUGS. Learning about their anatomy, how they see, move and use camouflage to hide in pain sight.

Butteryflys
This hands-on look at butterflies provides pre-schoolers with an opportunity to find out how caterpillars change into butterflies, how butterflies eat and to even make their own butterfly model to take home.

Eye to Eye
Interactive and hands-on activities will assist pre-schoolers with this introduction to the sense of sight. this lesson provides and opportunity to develop scientific skills through inquiry based instructional methods.
Children will understadn that:
-Our eyes help us to learn about the world around us
-Our eye is made up of different parts that work together to allow us to see
-Things look bigger when we look through a magnifying glass
-Sometimes we do not always see what we think we do
using telescopes and binoculars are ways in which we can see thing that are far away.

Human Body
Interactive and hands-on activities wil assist pre-schoolers with this introduction to the human body. After this workshop childream will understand that:
- Bodies are made up of bones called the skeloten
- Muscles help people to move
- The heart pumps blood through the body bringing food and oxygento all ofthe parts of the body.

Laser Light:
Children will learn about lasers and there uses through many hands on activities. They will follow light as it travels in a straight line. Reflest it in a mirror relay and interact with it visually and physically.

Lights on:
Interactive and hands-on activities will ssist pre-schooler with this introduction to light. the main concepts presented i nthis workshop are the following:
- Light helps us to see
- If you shine light through different colors the color of the light changes.
- Even though light looks white, it is actually made up of all colors of the rainbow ( red, blue, yellow, green etc.)

Listen Closely
Children will understand that:
- Sounds are made by vibrations
- Sound travels through the air in waves
- Sound waves can actually move things
- We can use our hearing to match like sounds
- Some movie sounds are made frmo ordinary objects
- Pitch refers to how high or love a sound is.

Space Frontiers
interactive and hands-on activities will assist pre-schoolers with this introduction to space. The main concepts presented in this workshop are the following:
* There are nine planets in our solar system that revolve around the sun.
* The sun, the planets and other objects in space make-up our solar system
* The sun is a star
* Astronauts travel into space and wear special clothing designed to kep then comfortable and safe

Listen Closely –Discover “Eggs-actly” what’s shakin’ as you explore sound! Explore whistling tubes and practice your bird sounds and take home a bird warbler!

Keep In Touch –Discover the importance of touch to exploring the world around you. Identify the objects in our mystery tubes, work with heat sensitive boards and model your own creation to take home!

Taste & Smell –Expose your nose to different aromas and your tongue to different flavors! Become a Pre-School “Picasso” with your very own “smelly” picture to take home!

Color Lab –Meet ROY G BIV in this rainbow of discovery as you see how colors can be mixed and separated. Take home your own diffraction glasses so your vision can always be full of rainbows!

Dry Ice –Discover the exciting world of dry ice while learning about the three states of matter!  Take an up-close look at bubbling potions and stimulate your senses with burps, bubbles, & “smoky” effects!

Harnessing Heat –Learn about heat as you watch a Mad Science fiber rocket launch and see how heat can transfer to objects when you change the colors of special paper that each child can take home!

Slime –Play with polymers while discovering how cool chemical reactions can be! Mix together slime to take home and continue your explorations!

Matter of Fact –Examine atoms and molecules while building marshmallow model molecules and discover how much fun polymers can be while creating Mad Science putty to take home!

Space Frontiers –Boldly travel through the fantastic solar system in our Mad Science Astronaut in Training Program!  (*Requires a darkened room)

Rocket Demonstration –Investigate the principals of rocket flight and learn the three parts of rocket flight!  Take part in a NASA style launch and take home your very own squeeze rocket!

Energy & Motion –Discover potential and kinetic energy using Boinks, that you take home, and poppers. Make a marble roller coaster and learn about seatbelt safety!

Mineral Mania –Discover the layers of the earth and witness a volcano erupting! Pan for gems that you can take home just like an old-time miner! 

Weather Wonders –Rain, snow, sleet or hail, whatever the conditions outside, have fun learning about weather patterns and the water cycle! Discover the role of wind and make a windsock to take home!

Adventures in Air –Create a vortex of air and see the power of wind and air –it’s sure to be a gas! See how air can hold things up with your own Cloud Climber plane that you can take home!

Dinosaurs –Investigate the habits, needs, and characteristics of dinosaurs.  Study real dinosaur teeth and even go on a real “dino dig” where you can uncover your own fossil to take home!

Animal Friends –Get wild when you create your own animal mask. Discover the different animal coverings and how animals use camouflage!

World of Worms –Zoom into the fascinating world of worms!  Use a magnifying glass and other scientific tools to see how they move & eat!   Take home a worm for your garden!

 Sea Sand and Surf  Preschoolers will learn all about the science behind things in the ocean. They will see how sand is created and observe shells up close. They will discover what creatures live in the sea and even play a game with a turtle. Children will make their own ocean bottle home.

Bubbles and Air Explore the wonderful world of bubbles, making geo bubbles, and see a bubble with in a bubble. Work with vortex generartors to better understand air pressure and see what it does to your bubbles. Make and take home your own bubble wand!

Fluttering Birds This hands on look at birds provides preschoolers with an opportunity to discover that male and female birds look different from eachother , what different bird eggs look like and how bird's beaks act as tools to help them eat certain foods. they will also listen to different bird calls and take home there own bird warbler to reproduce different bird calls.
