Crime Lab Chemistry-
 Detective Science is a great addition to your study of fingerprints and chromatography! The importance of observation skills are shown as kids solve a "crime scene" and learn about facial recognition. Mystery powders show us the importance of chemistry in solving crimes. We examine teeth impressions with our own teeth and anatomically correct skulls! Each child gets to keep an inkless ID kit!
Plant Growth and Development-
 In Photosynthesis we take a detailed look at photosynthesis and the lifecycle of a plant. Kids discover how plants turn CO2, H2O and sunlight into food. Everyone uses microscopes to look at slides of preserved plant cells and make their own slides of a plant to take home! They identify important structures of plants such as stomata and chloroplasts.
Sound-
 Our program, Good Vibrations is an incredibly hands-on "listen" to the concepts of sound! We have a quick review of vibration, frequency, and pitch using tuning forks!! We discuss woodwind instruments with a slide whistle versus string instruments and use ukuleles to discover the principles of pitch. Our cool "tooth tunes" let the children use their teeth to listen to the radio!
