We need INSTRUCTORS in the following areas:
CLASS INSTRUCTORS: Work with small groups of kids (15-20), teaching them exciting new science topics and encouraging them to discover and explore through cool demonstartions and hands-on activities. Programs include After-School Science Clubs, In-Class Field Trips, and Pre-School Workshops. Use inquiry base learning and standards correlated science workshops. And have fun while you teach too!!
MAD SCIENCE PERFORMER: Entertain and educate while having fun!! If you like to be in front of a crowd, Mad Science is for you! Perform at Birthday Parties, School Assemblies, Company Picnics, Camps, Malls, Fun-Science stations, and many more places. Crowds can range from 10 to 500! Our fast-paced, high-energy shows enthrall kids and adults with challenging questions and dazzle their senses with spectacular demonstrations. Mad Science shows are used to edu-tain and spark the imagination of children and adults alike.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with groups of children age 4-12
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- An OUTGOING, FUN and LOVING personality
- Lots and lots of ENERGY
NO SCIENCE BACKGROUND REQUIRED. We do the training!
CLASS INSTRUCTORS must have 2-3 weekday afternoons per week available.
SHOW PERFORMERS must have full weekend availability.
