Ice and Lightning - Day 2 Learn about electricity, its properties and its role in natural phenomena. Make indoor lightning while conducting hair-raising experiments with our electro-static generator. Explore the 3 states of matter. Turn water to ice in 30 seconds; build a giant bubbling potion; carbonate plain drinking water and create spectacular illusions used in the movies
Laserpalooza - Day 3 Learn about light, colors, holograms & special effects. Use a real laser to create illusions; design a light show and compete in a friendly game of Laser Limbo. Learn how science and art are blended together to form masterpieces. The children will learn about distorted images and draw their own.
Big Time Bugs - Day 4 Students will explore the world's most abundant creatures! How do insects defend themselves? What is the important role that they play in the ecosystem? What are their unique characteristics and attributes? These questions and more will be answered with fun, hands-on activities that introduce these fascinating creatures, found everywhere! Students will take home a “Bug Box” to help them continue their explorations in their own backyard. Children will learn about the interactions of plants and animals. Create your own food-web and learn about the importance of different cycles in the world. Create your own terrarium that you can take-home.

Rocket Science! - Day 5 Build your very own model rocket. A great way to investigate space flight and aerodynamics! Discover the dynamics of rocket flight. Touch and feel our scale rockets while learning how and why they fly. Take part in a NASA-style launching of model rockets that soar into the air and then return to earth by parachute!
