Where do Mad Science Parties take place?
Mad Science parties can pretty much take place anywhere - leisure centres, church halls - if you struggle to find a suitable venue and would like us reccommend one, give us a call and we will happily do so. Alternatively, you can have the party at home (most terraced houses are big enough for us to entertain the children) and our parties are very house friendly and leave no mess.
How many children can attend?
Although our standard pricing is based on fifteen children you can have as many as little or as much as you like but have to pay a little bit more for additional guests.
What does a typical Mad Science Party involve?
Interaction is the very foundation of a Mad Science party as we realise that a group of children will not sit for any length of time simply watching science demonstrations.
We always start with a magic trick and explain the difference between magic and science! The magic trick is always a winner with the children. Each birthday party has an overarching scientific theme, for example, ‘Air & Atmosphere,’ where most of the experiments are related to air pressure.
Each party will finish with a hands-on experiment where the children make their own polymers, either slime or putty which they get to take home.
A typical party involves ten distinct experiments, but the exact number of experiments we manage to demonstrate depends mostly on the level of interaction and the audiences desire to see it again, but rest assured there will be plenty to keep children mesmerised for an hour.
How much does a Mad Science Party cost?
That depends on what you would like us to do and how long you would like us to entertain the children for. Different packages are availble to suit varying budgets. Party packages start from only £140!!!
Is is possible to have a themed Mad Science party?
Absolutely!!! Mad Science Parties can be tailored for any occasion; Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Weddings and can be made extra special with one of our spectacular additional activites.
