Biographies

 

Chief Mad Scientist

 Dr. Ken Cheung holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering with emphasis in Materials Science from Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois) and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with double major in Math and Chemical Engineering.  He had been a Visiting Scientist at Berkeley, Davis, and San Diego campuses of the University of California.  Dr. Cheung is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for more than 10 years before assuming the present role as President and Chief Mad Scientist.  He has received honors from the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and the Golden Key National Honor Society.  He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the American Chemical Society.  Dr. Cheung continues to publish original research articles in the areas of biomaterials and nanotechnology.
