Fun Science Stations

Children will really get hands-on as they learn about the scientific priciples underlying some of their favorite toys and treats. At each Fun Station, kids will tuch, see, feel and taste for themselves. Several activities allow the kids to make something to take home.
All Mad Science Fun stations are all-inclusive. We provide all the equipment, materials and Mad Scientists. You provide the kids and we guarantee the fun! The number of children each station can accomodate per hour will vary. Popular uses for these stations are school carnivals, street fairs, and children's events of all kinds.
Fun Stations
Slime Funstation
It's ooey. It's gooey. It's slime! Or at least it is after you mix the two chemicals that put the ooh and goo into slime! Along the way kids learn about polymers and get to keep their creation. One hour accommodates approx 100 children.
Price: $200/hr ($100/hr when booked along with a Mad Science show.)
 Putty Station
Similar to our Slime Fun Station, kids learn about polymers and how they are all around us. By mixing two chemicals together they create a bouncy, stretchy concoction that provides hours of fun. One hour accommodates approx 100 children.

 Dry Ice Station
The wonders of Dry Ice are on display as we demonstrate different properties of the three common states of matter. We make a quarter shiver, turn water into ice in 30 seconds, explore movie special effects and create some fun bubbling potions.

 Super Duper Bouncy Balls
What starts out as a powder, uses ordinary water to completely change shape and then can bounce around the room? Super Duper Bouncy Balls! One hour accommodates approx 50 children.

Algy Worms
 What do you get when you have two chemicals, a little bit of coloring, a squirt bottle, and lots of fun? Gummi Worms! Kids will conduct their own chemistry experiment and create their very own gummi worms (not edible) that they'll get to take home.

 Periscopes
Look around corners and over walls while learning about optical illusions as you build your very own periscopes!
