The following special events and programs are being held at libraries throughout the greater Indianapolis area. Most library programs are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  Some programs may require you to register ahead of time.  Call the libraries for additional details:

Jefferson St. Brownsburg, IN 46112 852-3167 Date: July 14, 2010 Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Description: We choose absolutely the best science demonstrations from all our Special Events in order to provide our most spectacular array of science experiences. Explore the extremes of hot and cold – from captivating combustion demonstrations to powerful presentations of the physical properties of ultra-cold dry ice. Witness the effect of Bernoulli’s principle with our levitating beach ball and the giant TP unravel. Watch hot air launch a trash bag. Behold as foam will erupt from our catalyzed peroxide decomposition, and a wig form will appear to melt under the influence of an organic solvent. And for the grand finale', the floor will be covered with fog. These are just some of the amazing feats you will see as we present the best of our best!
