Moving Motion - In this class, students will discover the science behind motion. They will perform experiments to learn more about the ways that friction, inertia and other physical
forces affect motion.

Measure for Measure - This workshop introduces the concept of measurement through hands on activities that provide opportunities for children to learn the proper way to measure. Through inquiry based teaching methods students will be introduced to and work with different items and challenges to engage their critical thinking and measuring skills. [Grades K-2]

Electricity - Don't insulate yourself from this electrifying class! Visit the circuit circus and discover its positives and negatives. Apply your knowledge and build your own electric fan. [Grades 3-6]

Turn up the Volume - This workshop introduces the concept of measurement through hands on activities for students to learn proper way to measure volume. Students will learn about: displacement, centimeters, distance, grams, kilograms, liters, mass, measurement, meters, milliliters and volume. [Grades 3-6]

Nature of Things

Bugs! - Learn about their fabulous flying abilities, their unique eyesight, and the way that they defend themselves against predators. Explore what characteristics insects have and build your own bug models to take home.

All About Animals - How do animals feed themselves and their young? Which animals hibernate and which ones migrate and why? How do animals use camouflage and behavior to protect themselves from predators? Students will gain a better understanding of the adaptations and characteristics of animals which live in different habitats and environments.

Life in the Sea - Learn about buoyancy and how sea animals adapt. Explore sea stars, sea urchins and shells. Take home your own Cartesian diver!
