Shows

These are thrilling, fast-paced, high-energy science presentations that will dazzle the children!

Fire and Ice
Explores exothermic chemical reactions and the wonders of dry ice with Mad Science flash paper, an “explosive” bottle blast, a crazy bubble shower and creepy, foggy effects.
Up, Up and Away
Introduces the principals of air pressure through the creation and flight of a hot air balloon, giant smoke rings from our Vortex Generator, levitating balls, a real hovercraft and movie special effects.
Marvels of Motion

Observe The power of all sorts of forces including gravity, centrifugal force, inertia and much more. Then we will harness the power of these forces together to create astonishing jetpacks and even a rocket-propelled car!

Bugs, Habitats and Hives, Oh my!

Observe What makes a Bug an Insect? Where do they live and how do insects protect themselves from all those creatures out there that want them for lunch? Help the Mad Scientist find out what the buzzzz is all about!

Crime Lab

Observe Help the Mad Scientist solve a mystery using clues, forensic science and observation. Come along as we test mystery fibers and liquids, check for clues at the scene, and reveal the perpetrator!

Fire and Ice 2

Observe More crazy chemical reactions! See a Cheetoh burn like a blowtorch, indoor fireworks and end with a hydrogen bang!

It's Not Magic
This fun special event demonstrates the science of magic tricks.  This 45 minute program features incredible demonstrations that help children to visualize key chemistry and physics concepts.  Volunteers from the audience safely help the instructor perform eye catching experiments like sitting on a bed of nails.  Children will leave the Mad Science "It's Not Magic" Special Event excited about further investigating the world of science!
Be Tobacco Free

>>>Great For Red Ribbon Week!

Observe This highly interactive assembly includes fascinating science demonstrations and special effects that highlight the health risks of tobacco use. Students see the impact of second-hand smoke using a smoking chamber and witness a simulation of the effects of nicotine on the heart and circulatory system.
