Our Children Need More Science...
 In an age when science programs are being cut or under-funded, our programs provide unequaled science enrichment, inviting children to discover the world around them and pursue careers in the sciences. Mad Science is currently trying to create more local partnerships with businesses and organizations to increase access to Mad Science programming within the community.
Why Mad Science?
Research indicates that out of 500 typical 5th grade students, only 18 will go on to earn a science degree. More discouraging, that number drops to 2 out of 500 for female 5th grade students. As proud members of the National Science Teachers Association, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and National Association for the Education of Young People, we are committed to advancing science profeciency in our children by continuing to provide a diverse range of unique hands-on science programs. Why our Programs are so Effective
You may have read the terms "hands-on" or "inquiry based learning" in relation to our programming. Well, what does that mean? All of our programming is developed using inquiry based methods of teaching. Click here to read more about this term. Inquiry based learning is successful because of the "hands on" approach it uses.
