Mad Science Preschool Programs are engaging hands-on learning experiences for preschool children aged 3-5. Each workshop is an interactive, age-appropriate exploration of a specific science topic. From air, our animal friends and butterflies to water, weather and worms, each themed program is designed to captivate the curious nature of young children. Preschoolers enjoy engaging demonstrations, perform simple experiments and will discover how science can help us better understand the world around us!

Each 30-45 minute program comes with a complimentary Teacher Resource Package to help educators maximize the learning experience.

ADVENTURES IN AIR:  Its invisible! Its powerful! Its all around us! Discover what you can do with air and what it does to us!

COLOR LAB:  See how colors are made and meet our friend Roy G. Biv in this colorful class!

 

DINOSAURS:  See and touch casts of real dinosaur teeth, dig for fossils, and make your own cast of a dino tooth to take home!

EYE TO EYE:  Learn how your eyes work and how you can trick them! See the world through telescopes and periscopes!

KEEP IN TOUCH:  What can you discover using just your sense of touch? Feel smooth things, soft things, and maybe even gooey things.

LETS LOOK CLOSELY:  Use microscopes, mirrors, and magnifiers and give yourself a new perspective on the world!

 

LIGHTS ON:  Change the color of light, make a rainbow, and catch a shadow in this illuminating class!

LISTEN CLOSELY:  Hear hear! Learn how sound moves, test your hearing, and create Hollywood sound effects.

MAD MIXTURES:  Try your hand at chemistry! Mix chemicals and even make an explosion! (A very little one, of course.)

MAGNETIC ATTRACTION:  Learn what makes magnets stick and why they sometimes don’t! Test different magnets and more in this attractive class!

 

 

SPACE FRONTIERS:  Learn more about the neighborhood youve lived in your whole life the solar system! Visit the planets and learn what its like to work on the moon!

TASTE AND SMELL:  It’s ok to be nosy in this class! Find out how your nose and tongue work and then put them to the test!

WEATHER WONDERS:  This class will blow you away! Learn all about temperature and wind and how you can measure them.

DECOMPOSERS:  What has no eyes, breathes through its skin, and eats soil?  Worms!  Examine worms up close an even take one home in a wormerie you make yourself!
