School in-service has never been so much fun…and educational. Mad Science, the world’s leader in providing fun science, will be holding day camps during in-service school days for students ages 5-12 years old. These camps will be held at a location in your school division to make it convenient for families to drop off and later pick up our campers. Registration is $45 per child for each day enrolled; there is a limit of 25 students per camp and is first come first enrolled.

We will be holding these camps throughout the school year and hope to contact the parents who might be challenged to find their own child care. We hope to give parents enough notice that they can feel confident that Mad Science will cover those days on a regular basis and we will send notices as is necessary.  You can also call our office at 775-7959 to inquire for future dates or other questions.

The Mad Science topics for each day will be chosen from …

Flight plus hoverboard- we will actually fly the kids on the hoverboard!

Light – the full spectrum plus indoor fireworks.

Science of Toys- what more can we say plus build your own toy to take home!

Structures – become an engineer for a day and build your own model geodesic dome to take home.

Enter the world of Machines and build a simple machine to take home.

Learn about Forces…gravity, inertia, centripetal force and experience them as we travel from station to station.

If it’s not cold enough by then we’ll cool things down with our Dry Ice workshop. We’ll even recreate a cemetery scene like in the scary movies!

If that’s not scary enough, we’ll Slime everyone with our slimy workshop. You get to make some and take it home.

We’ll finish off the day by entering the world of Bugs.

Each day will have 3 major workshops picked from the above list. We provide the instructors, all the equipment and take homes; you send along lunch and a small morning and afternoon snack (no peanut products please.)
