Dates and Locations
Discover the draw of Mad Science in the summer at your local community center. Mad Science engages children in scientific explorations that are so much fun children will forget they're learning! Each of our camps are one week of hands-on science fun.
We will supply materials and drinks. Each camper needs to bring a bag lunch as well as AM & PM snacks. NO peanut or nut products.
Cost of Crazy Chem camp is $160. Cost of Red Hot Robots Camp is $160 plus $20 for the Robot your child will build and take home Register your child in both camps and recieve 15% off the second camp! Camp times are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday.
Free early drop off available as early as 8:00 AM! After care available from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at a cost of $25 for the week.

Red Hot Robots Camp
At our camp Red Hot Robots, each camper will build their own robot and take it home at the end of the week! On top of that we will be looking at different aspects of robot ‘life’ such as learning to walk like a robot, articulating ‘grippers’ to lift things and the concept of ‘centre of gravity’. In addition we will gain new understandings of the Mad Science workshops ‘Machines’, as well as circuits and electricity. This is a great camp for kids interested in these related subjects as well as games and activities associated with them. Campers must be at least 7 years or older for our Red Hot Robots camp because of the manual dexterity robot building demands.
Crazy Chemworks Camp
Your children will shake up a flask of fun as a junior chemist at the Mad Science Crazy Chemworks Camp. These 5 days of chemistry are packed solid with cool reactions. Campers put on some goggles and change liquid into solid and back again. They get to handle Laboratory tools, build and break molecules, and pick up some tips on chemical changes. With the'take homes' you receive all the gear to start your own lab at home!
