Our Mad Science Party Upgrades are a great way to extend the fun at your party. The Mad Scientist will provide the materials and explanations for these fun activities.

Each upgrade is described below, with special requirements noted after the descriptions, if applicable. NOTE: Upgrades last about 15 minutes unless otherwise noted.

Guess what the Number One thing is that kids ask our Mad Scientists? “When are you going to BLOW SOMETHING UP???” Well, we bring all the supplies to do several contained, safe explosions that let kids get their BOOM-FIX while having a blast! We’ll even tell you how they work. Plus, we clean up after ourselves so you can go on to cake and presents without a care.

Requirements

·         Best for ages 6+

·         Access to water

·         Outdoors, if possible (on a deck or in a garage is best) but we’ll make do if weather or space does not permit

Get ready to get vaporized! We bring the CO2 and show you cool movie effects while teaching you how this foggy phenomenon is made. Kids will get to taste it, smell it, touch the vapor and learn how to be safe while having fun with sublimation!

We break out the UV makeup and get you all painted up. Don't see anything? Let's turn on the black light. Then LASERS go on, music cranks and we prompt you to bust your best Robot Dance, Worm Dance and more. Then, we’ll end it all by doing an important LASER assisted surgery on our Mad Science teddy bear!

·         Room needs to be dark (basements and garages work best)

·         Open space for dancing kids (ex.: push furniture out of the way)

What happens to sugar when you heat it up? We show you with our portable cotton candy machine. We’ll discuss its sweet origins, let you see the machine in action, then get it crankin’ so everyone can have some hot, fresh floss!

·         Outdoors, if possible (on a deck or in a garage to cut down on flying floss)

Model Rocketry is an addictive hobby! We’ll bring a couple of Mad Science rockets that have been built for launch, explain the fundamentals of flight, and set them off in your backyard with a countdown! The birthday child will receive their own Mad Science Rocket kit with complete instructions so they can build their own rocket for future launches!
