Are you… in need of a job with a flexible schedule? At Mad Science, we’ll work with you to create a schedule that will work for us both! That’s why this is such a great job for retired and currently working teachers, college students and stay-at home Mom’s.

We’ll provide the necessary training and equipment; you provide your own transportation, the energy and desire to spark kids’ interest in SCIENCE!

Because we’re continually growing and expanding our programs, Mad Science is always looking for new instructors. While we’re willing to interview at any time during the year, our focused hiring times are as follows:

Birthday Party Instructors – hiring/training all year 
(mostly weekend schedule)

Special Event/Show Performers – hiring/training all year
(weekday and weekend schedule)

 Workshop Instructors – hiring/training all year 
(M-F, during school hours)

After-school Instructors – hiring focus is in September and January
 (M-F, 1 ½ hour class between the hours of 2:30pm-5pm)

 Summer Camp Instructors / Assistants – hiring all year / training new instructors in June  (M-F, 9am - 4pm, June – August)

 General Office Work – hiring is done on a need-be basis. Usually temporary help is needed June - August to help stock equipment throughout the summer camp season. 

Individuals will undergo a thorough background check as part of the hiring process.  All instructors will be fingerprinted and registered with the New York State Board of Education before teaching.
