You Will Need
  • Helicopter sheet
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Paper Clip

Preparing the Helicopter

Step 1: Cut along all the solid black lines.

Step 2: Take the side that has dotted lines and fold along the dotted lines. First fold the long line in and then the other long line to make a thin strip.

Step 3: Bend up the end of the strip. Tape so it stays in place.

Step 4: Now bend the other side, one in one direction and one in the other.

Step 5:  Attach a paper clip at the bottom of the body.

Lift Off

Step 1: Stand up

Step 2: Drop your helicopter and watch what happens!

How it Works

As the helicopter falls, air rushes out from under the wings and it rotates. At the same time air hits the body of the helicopter, pushing it forward which results in the rotating action. Another amazing feat of AIR PRESSURE.
