Mad Science Express

Take a ride on the Mad Science Express. At stops along the way, make “mad mucus” and map out the human body. Get a taste of space with a bottle rocket. Test what your toes have to do with tennis. Grow jaws and claws to feed your beastly stomach.

Earth Awareness
How are we hurting Mother Earth? Discover how science will help us protect out planet. Children will understand the basics of water pollution, acid rain, and the green house effect. By actively recycling their own garbage, they create a personal item to take home and actually use!

Organ Trail
Make mad mucus and check out your bones as you travel the organ trail and uncover the secrets of your own body. Make a body portrait, measure your blood pressure and play Eater’s Digest as you add important organs to your portrait.

Nature
Play the nature scavenger hunt that combines science explorations with animal kingdom! Campers learn about the life cycles, animal habitats, and replicate their own footprints. Create a camouflage and learn how plants and animals adapt to their habitats.

Space Day
Junior astronauts probe the wonders of our solar system on an important mission to summer fun.   Discover how astronauts live and work in space.   Build your own telescope and use it to search the night sky. Simulate a test for life on a far away planet. Design a spacesuit, repair a satellite, eat space food, launch a model rocket, and communicate with your astronaut friends from Mission Control.

The Science of Sport (Not in four day camp)
You’ve made the team, the Mad Science team. Our winning team has a game plan that is sure to achieve fun. Learn why our toes, eyes, and center of gravity are so important to physical activity. Learn about protecting yourself from injury as you design, build, and test a safety helmet for an egg. Perform a strength test, a lung test, and depth perception test. Take home a tight-rope rolling owl.
