LIFE SCIENCES
Bugs
Students explore the world's most abundant animals! How do insects defend themselves? What is their role in the ecosystem? These questions and more are answered with fun, hands-on activities to further investigate these fascinating creatures! Students will take home a plastic bug eye and a giant preserved Lubber grasshopper.

EARTH AND SPACE SCIENCES
Dinosaurs

Discover how these huge reptiles lived, what they had for dinner. Watch as the classroom is transformed into a dig for Tyranosaurus bones. Children will even take home their very own dinosaur tooth.

Earthworks
Investigate the most fascinating planet in our solar systemEarth! Take a closer look at how earthquakes change the landscape and take readings from a seismograph. Discuss the Earths crust, mantle and core; learn about volcanoes and make one erupt.  Build your own sedimentary stacker to take home.

Space...The Final Frontier
These are the voyages of young inquiring minds on a quest to discover Space! Their mission: to take an exciting look at planets, moon, comets and the stars... to boldly go where bright young minds love to go. (Space suits not required.) Children will return with their own piece of the skies!

Wacky Waves
Build your own wave modulator while learning about water, waves and the environment. Discover the difference in liquid densities; simulate the effects of an ocean oil spill and learn about the different techniques to clean it up!

Walloping Weather
Lets talk about the weather! Students experiment with weather instruments and discover how the water cycle works. We also combine the right ingredients to make a cloud inside a bottle. Discover the power of air pressure, thunder, lightning and learn to understand weather forecasts. Take home your personal ultraviolet ray detector key chain.

PHYSICAL SCIENCES
Harnessing Heat
Witness a mini rocket launch while learning the properties of heat. Change the states of matter, turn solid candy into floss and make your very own cotton candy that you can eat!

Kitchen Chemistry
Cooking is all about chemistry! Students are introduced to the laboratory that we call a kitchen to test for iron in their cereal.  Children learn how living organisms cause bread to rise. They make and take home a non-Newtonian substance called Magic Mud.

Lights....Color...Action!
Uncover the hidden components in ordinary light and build your own Newton's color wheel to prove it. Attend a spectacular chemical energy display!

Magnetic Magic
Investigate the powers and daily use of magnets. Test for electro magnetic fields and then use what you have learned to build your own electro magnet...

Optical Illusions
Build your own periscope while learning about optics, reflection and sight. Watch celebrity images change before your very eyes! Seeing is not always believing...

Science of Magic
Magic? No its Science!  Escape Houdinis chains; watch a rabbit disappear before your eyes.  Youll learn the secrets behind some magic that you can recreate for yourself! Learn a mental card trick you can play on your friends.

Watts-UP
Learn about electricity, its properties and its role in special natural phenomena. Make indoor lightning while conducting hair-raising experiments with our electrostatic generator.

Where's the Air
Imagine turning a soda can into a heap of crushed metal without touching it. Be part of a Mad Science pressure plunge and the historic 'Magdeburg Sphere" experiment. Make and take home a set of air pressure tricks.

GRADES 3 - 6

LIFE SCIENCES
Detective Science

Discover how science is used to solve real crimes! Watch as the classroom is transformed into a crime lab for this exciting exploration of the fundamentals of forensics. Children take home their very own Child Identification Kit. It's so much fun, it's criminal!

EARTH AND SPACE SCIENCES
Mineral Mania

Get the nitty gritty on rocks and minerals. Make your own volcano! Discover how earth scientists are able to identify rocks. Have fun actually panning" for minerals and you get to keep all you find.

Space...the Final Frontier
Join the voyages of young inquiring minds on a quest to discover Space! Their mission:   to take an exciting look at planets, moons, comets, and the stars to boldly go where bright young minds love to go (space suits not required). Take home your own canister constellation.

PHYSICAL SCIENCES
Acids and Bases
Uncover the secrets of chemistry and the effects acids and bases have on our daily lives. Learn to test for acid rain; watch us make a CO2 fire extinguisher.  Then make your own canister cannon using an acid and a base!

Che-Mystery
Eliminate the mystery in chemistry! Watch water turn into Kool Aid, and see a camphor speedboat zing across water. Explore one of the most exciting and fundamental sciences as you grow a crazy crystal garden and make your own chemical soda pop!

Current Events
Take a tour on the electron freeway! Learn about conductors, insulators and other elements in the world of circuit electricity.  Make a series circuit, watch a fuse pop a balloon, and take home your own nerve tester.
