Mad Scientist Paper Bag Puppet Craft

Materials:
- Glue
- Brown Paper Bag
- Craft Paper (white, black, red, green, yellow)
- Black Marker
- Clear Scotch Tape
Directions:
1. Create your Mad Scientist’s face and hair on the paper bag’s bottom.
- Cut out two white circles for his eyes and glue or tape in place
- Cut out a white nose
- Open one of the folds on the bottom of the bag and place teeth (cut out of white paper) on the top and bottom fold so that it looks like when his mouth is open he has a nice set of “choppers”!
- Cut out some cool black square glasses using our picture as a guide!
- Trace your fingers or your hand on a piece of white paper and use that as your pattern! Cut this out and glue or tape to the top of the bottom of the bag to create the “wild and wacky hair-do”!
2. Create your Mad Scientist’s lab coat.
- Trace the bag on top of a sheet of white paper for his white lab coat, adding the arms and hands, and glue or tape to the backside of the paper bag.
- Draw a pocket and buttons on the lab coat and stuff something “peering” out of the pocket like a snake or something else creepy!
3. Put something into your Mad Scientist’s hands.
- Cut out a lightning bolt and red beaker or find something else to tape or glue on to his hands.
You are now ready for some Mad Science fun on your own with your puppet!
