Science of Music - Boom, tap, smack, cha-cha-cha, listen to the sounds and rhythm of the science of music. Children will feel, hear and see the vibrations that help create music in this hands-on exploration. Build and take home a jingle bracelet!
Lights On -Students will get fascinated with light. They will learn how shadows and rainbow colors are made using a rainbow a catcher. They will mix colors of light and explore the world of color.
Adventures in Air - How can something invisible have so much power? We show the power of air. Submerge Mr. Sponge, but air will keep him nice and dry! The children will get to make their own "“Loop de Loop"” flyers that soar through the air!
Sea, Sand & Surf - Take an imaginary trip to the beach and see how sand is made. Meet creatures that live in the ocean. Examine different shells, a starfish, & a sponge; and see how different sea creatures live. Make a tiny ocean to carry home in your pocket!
Mad Mixtures - Exploration into the world of chemistry! Through our Exploding Colors and Liquid Lasagna experiments the children will get an understanding of chemicals, chemical reactions and density. Then they'll mix up a batch of play dough to take home!
Color Lab-This workshop will introduce preschoolers to the exciting world of color. They will make a new friend while learning about the colors of the rainbow and will experiment with their creative side during an activity on color mixing. Demonstrations will be conducted to introduce students to the primary colors as well as color mixing.
How Big? How Much? – Preschoolers will learn the basics of measurement during this workshop when they get to measure all kinds of objects using balance beam scales, bathroom scales and even their own feet! Children will be introduced to the concept of estimation and take home a measuring foot to cut out with their parents.
Dry Ice Capades-Children will be introduced to the concept of matter and how it can change from one form to another, as in, solid to liquid to gas. The fascinating world of matter will be presented using dry ice as it undergoes "sublimation". They will be totally mesmerized!
The Wonders of Life

Butterflies – Preschoolers discover all about butterflies – where they come from, stages of their growth, how they eat and even make some of their own to take home during this workshop.
Fluttering Birds – Children will be excited to learn all about their fine feathered friends when they take an up close look at birds. They will discover how to match bird mates, see what eggs are produced by which species; learn how a bird’s beak is a tool and how to identify different bird’s songs. Preschoolers will take home bird warblers to practice their birds.
World of Worms - In this class, children will explore the fascinating lifes of worms; they’ll learn where worms live, what they eat & how they see. Using magnifying glasses, children will examine live worms, up close & personal!
Digging for Dinosaurs- Children will be little paleontologists in this exciting class! They will learn about when dinosaurs lived, what they ate, and how scientists know they existed. Dig for the "fossil remains" of a mystery dinosaur, and they will even cast their own T-Rex tooth.
Animal Friends-Become an animal, identify animal sounds, and learn all about animal’s babies and parents.
Bugs-Children will be introduced to the world of the creepy, crawly creatures through hands-on activities. They will learn how to identify an insect, learn about their habitats, and defense systems. They will make their own insect model to take home.
Human Body-The students will meet Mr. Bones and learn about bones, muscles, and other body systems.
Growing Plants-Welcome to the world of plants. Children will learn plants--parts, how they grow and conditions necessary for their growth. They will be budding botanists for the day.
