BROWNIES - MAKING MUSIC
Music is the art of making sounds that are pleasing to the ear.  Explore the world of vibrations and sound waves andhow they make music.  Learn how sound waves affect pitch and what other everyday instruments you can create to make music.

JUNIORS - TOYMAKER
Toys! You have them, use them, share them and trade them.  Now findout how they work!  Explore the physics of the basic ball and yo-yo and make your own yo-ball to take home.

BROWNIES - EAT RIGHT, STAY HEALTHY
Focus on nutrition and fitness, including the essential components of a healthy diet and lifestyle. Build a nutritional pie chart and gain an understanding of how food is used to fuel your body. Explore the role of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and how each provides energy for the body.

JUNIORS - MAKING IT MATTER
Engineers take scientific knowledge and make useful things from it such as cars, bridges and computers. Practice being an engineer as you explore, create and play with the most entertaining and useful molecule known to science! Discover the polymer in it’s many shapes and forms and make some to take home with you.

BROWNIES - SPACE EXPLORERS
Learning about the stars and planets and other things up there in the sky can open up a whole new world. Astronomers and astronauts use telescopes, satellites, spaceships and other scientific equipment to study space. You, too, can take a step into space exploration.

JUNIORS - SCIENCE DISCOVERY
Scientists ask questions and find answers.  There is a method to the madness!  Learn all the steps to the scientific method and how to apply it to your scientific questions.

BROWNIES - EARTH IS OUR HOME
The Earth is our home and the environment we all live in. Learn how plants and animals are connected and how they interact with their surroundings. Discover why webs are not made just by spiders! Create your very own ecosystem and watch it grow.

JUNIORS - ARCHITECTURE
Architects, engineers and decorators design buildings and other spaces. Explore the beginnings of architectural art by experimenting with the basics of building: triangles, cubes, cylinders and arches. Test their strength alone and in combinations. Learn how these shapes make sturdy homes and skyscrapers! Design your own super structures as well as an earthquake-proof building!

BROWNIES - SCIENCE IN ACTION
Giant molecule chains called polymers are vital to modern civilization and to life itself! Learn what makes these maverick molecules so unique and so very important. Explore, create and play with some polymers you may already know!

JUNIORS - A HEALTHIER YOU

BROWNIES - WATER EVERYWHERE
When you look at a globe, you can see why Earth is called the “water planet.” Learn more about the world of wonderful ocean water in a class that will re-create the motion of the ocean and the hidden buoyant power of salt water. Explore the concept of density and find out why a boat will float and a penny will sink.

JUNIORS - AEROSPACE
The journey into space begins with learning how to fly… planes that is. Explore the 4 forces of flight: Lift, Drag, Thrust and Gravity and how they affect planes and other flying machines. Take part in the plane races and become a Top Gun.

BROWNIES - CREATIVE COMPOSING
Compose means “to put together,” “to make up,” “to create.”  When spies want to communicate they cannot just send a letter!  Learn all about the science of composing secret messages.  Discover top secret ways of talking to your friends undercover just like spies do.

JUNIORS - SCIENCE IN EVERYDAY LIFE
Science is everywhere! Learn the science about something you encounter everyday, static electricity.  Learn about its properties and its role in natural phenomena.  Make indoor lightning and conduct hair-raising experiments with our electro-static generator.
