There really is No Hassle! No Mess! and No Fuss! when you host your party at The Lab. All you need to provide is the birthday child, excited kids and the cake! The Mad Scientist will be your party organizer and take care of everything for you including serving the cake.
Parties in The Lab include:
- 2-hours in our super scientific laboratory
- a fast-paced entertaining and educational show
- full-color poster & certificate for the birthday child
- every child participates in a scientific experiment that results in a take-home party favor
- your personal Mad Scientist to assist your group
- all the paper products (plates, napkins, utensils, cups)

We will have The Lab completely ready when your guests arrive.
PARTY SCHEDULE
 Weekend parties at The Lab can be scheduled at 10:00am, 1:00pm or 4:00pm. Evening parties are scheduled by appointment only. Call for availability.
PARTY FLOW
Example of a 1:00 Party
- 1:00 The Lab opens and guests arrive
- 1:15 Mad Science Show begins
- 2:00 Grand Finale – Hovercraft Rides!
- 2:15 Refreshments and presents
- 3:00 Guests begin departure
- 3:15 Party Ends
Your Mad Science show, refreshments and present opening will take place in the same room. Your Mad Scientist will manage the party flow to ensure you and your guests have enough time to enjoy the full experience.
 The entertainment portion of your party will begin 15 minutes after The Lab opens and is clearly designated as the Show Start Time on your Confirmation. Depending on the age and number of your guests, this entertainment will last approximately 45 – 60 minutes. Grand Finales you have added to the party will take place next. Each Grand Finale requires approximately an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Our years of party experience tells us that it is best to keep your total entertainment time to under 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The remainder of your time in The Lab can be used by you for refreshments and opening presents.

ARRIVAL TIME
You and your guests should arrive at The Lab on time! We have allowed 15 minutes for arrival prior to the Mad Science Show Start Time. We have other parties scheduled both before and after yours, and we want every group (including yours) to have our undivided attention.
SHOW TIME
 Mad Science will be ready to begin your party entertainment at the stated Mad Science Show Start Time. Should all your guests not be present at the stated Show Start Time, you may elect to delay the start of the party entertainment, but by no more than 10 to 15 minutes. If the party entertainment starts late, we will still end your party at the designated end time.
PARTY LENGTH
You have 2 full hours in the Lab beginning at the designated Show Start Time. Our basic party entertainment is approximately one hour in length. If you intend on bringing cake or opening presents that leaves an extra hour to do so. If you are worried that you will have too much free time, we have four Grand Finales such as The Science of Cotton Candy, the Dry Ice Show or Hovercraft Rides. This will add approximately 10 to 15 minutes to your entertainment time.
DECORATIONS
The Lab is professionally decorated in a cool science theme. Therefore, no additional decorations are allowed. We ask that nothing be hung or taped to the walls or ceiling.
FOOD AND DRINKS
We strive to provide each party the same fabulous experience and give each our undivided attention. Cleanliness of the venue is an important aspect of a positive party experience. Therefore, we are quite strict on what food and drinks are served in The Lab. This is for your benefit as much as that of others.
You may bring:
- Cake or cup cakes
- Pizza (4:00 Show only)
We will provide everything else you need to conduct your party:
- Beverages (Juice & Water)
- Cups
- Plasticware
- Plates
- Napkins
PARENTS OF GUESTS
Are they invited? Can they observe the party? Absolutely!!! Kids of all ages enjoy our unique brand of fun, hands-on science. Should adults be present, we ask that they limit their involvement to observation only and that they respect our desire for silence during the entertainment.
PARTY PARTICIPANTS
Any child who participates in the party activities, regardless of age, will be included when we calculate the number of party participants.
