What is that?! Ewwww! Your child will have the time of their lives learning about the all the gross concepts behind science like slippery slime, super sticky stuff, creepy crawlies & and ooey-gooey goodness! They'll be sure to leave each day saying, "ewwwww, gross!!!!"
On my plate & In my body - Study the science of your insides by learning about the major systems of the human body! Learn about how your food is digested, how your blood flows through your body and how your brain controls all these parts. Then, campers will take a hands-on look at the chemistry that goes on in your kitchen. Hunt for starch, sugar and fats in foods and investigate a living organism that helps bread rise. Discover how the sun can help turn chemical reactions into a tasty snack! Campers will be able to make their own chemical soda pop to taste test! Each camper will get an apron, which clears up the mystery of the digestive system. Children put real food through the Digestor Inspector and follow the digestive tract. This is a glimpse of guts in action!
Sticky, Icky, Gooey! - Ooze into a gooey day of sliming around! Create slime using the Mad Science recipe, get to learn the science behind plastics and attempt to push a pencil into a bag filled with water! Campers will play lifesize molecules to become atoms in a lifesize game and will learn about molecules as they create silly putty! Each child takes home their own concoction slime and putty for extra sliming and gooing at home! Who knew stretchy objects could be so fun!
Dirt, Garbage & Ecosystems- The concepts of reduce, reuse and recycle are explored while Hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations will illustrate to students their role in improving the state of the planet. After that, campers will wiggle on over to a lesson in decomposing! They will discover the important roll that worms play in decomposing. They will get an up close look at how these worms work in the environment everyday! Each child takes home a worm!

Campers will then dive into the world of dinosaurs!. They will be introduced to the differences between meat eating and plant eating animals and will have the opportunity to look at some dinosaur teeth up close. Working as paleontologists, all campers will participate in a mini dinosaur dig that will engage their attention as well as their scientific skills. Each camper will make their own dinosaur tooth to take home!
