 Mad Science will enhance your science curriculum with inquiry-based workshops that meet California Science Standards! Structured as an in-class field trip, Mad Science workshops are an exciting way
to offer students a hands-on science experience without leaving the classroom. With professional lesson plans, unique equipment and experienced instructors, Mad Science workshops offer engaging learning experiences for students in K-6th grades.
Each workshop is 60 minutes in length and can accommodate a class of up to 20 students (K-2nd grade) or up to 32 students (3rd-6th grade). Mad Science brings all of the equipment and materials to your location.
 We offer over 25 workshop topics that you may choose from in physical science, earth science or life science.
Each workshop comes with a Teacher Resource Package to help educators maximize the learning experience before and after each Mad Science workshop. This packet is sent to the teacher prior to the workshop.
 Workshops can be stand-alone classes or combined into a reoccurring program during the school day. Many schools and organizations use our workshops to supplement their existing science program; others use our workshops as a reward for classes or groups of kids that participate in school programs.
We also offer the STAR Power Pack program which focuses on preparing 4th and 5th grade students for the STAR science test.
