From our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this hands-on program for children ages 5-12 sends them on a quest for exploration! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Learn about the four forces of flight, the challenges of space travel, and participate in a rocket launch! This is a 5-week program that meets once per week for 1 hour. 

This program provides credits for the following areas:

Mad Science World of
Funky Forensics

From fingerprints to fabric samples, dive into the world of forensics as Mad Science takes you behind the scenes of this amazing crime solving science.  This hands-on program for children ages 5-12 will show you how scientists use cool tools and their powers of observation to solve the crime and much, much more!  Do you have what it takes to be a Mad Science Funky Forensic Expert? 

This is a 5-week program that meets once per week for 1 hour.

• Concepts of Physical Science
• Science & Technology
• Science as an inquiry process
• History & Nature of Science
