Fire & Ice

Children will be dazzled and entertained as they interact with our Mad Scientists!  This spectacular show will thrill audiences with impressive science experiments.  The event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air.  Volunteers from the audience can taste a special Mad Science "burp" potion.  Students will be amazed by sizzling, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers.

 Up, Up and Away!

This spellbinding special event introduces children to the principles of air and pressure.  Children are amazed as a soda bottle is crushed before their very eyes, and experience how pressure affects the world around us.  The Mad Scientist will make a hot air balloon out of a dry cleaning bag and have a volunteer show the audience how a parachute works.  A vortex generator will create giant smoke rings and a special powder will be used to surprise everyone.  The children will get the chance to watch a hovercraft in action.  Finally, a special finale will illustrate how pressure can be used to create special effects in the movies.
