 |  | Mad Science has awesome week long summer camps for children entering Kindergarten - entering 6th grade, and Young Scientists Camp for preschool students. All of our camps have a ratio of 1 instructor per 15 students.
Following are the camps that we are offering:

Camp No. 1
SCIENCE EXPLORATION
(For grades Kindergarten - 6th)
Mad Science invites you to discover claws, codes and constellations with our exciting Camp Number 1. Following are some topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. These are only a sample of some of the activities that you will be doing each day. The topics will not necessarily follow this order. However, each of these topics will be included at some point in the camp.

MOVING WITH SCIENCE (For grades Kindergarten - 6th)
Move with science in our exciting Camp Number 2. Following are some topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. Mad Science invites you to discover cells and crime with our exciting Camp Number 3. Following are some descriptions of topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. These are only a sample of some of the activities that we will be doing each day. The topics will not necessarily follow this order. ROCKIN' ROCKETS (For grades Kindergarten - 6th)
Mad Science invites you to launch your knowledge of rockets in our exciting Camp Number 4. Following are some topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. These are only a sample of some of the activities that you will be doing each day. The topics will not necessarily follow this order. However, each of these topics will be included at some point in the camp. We will launch rockets and your child will build several types of rockets. Our camp includes everything your child needs during our camp day. However, if you wish to continue your child’s interest in rocket launches outside our camp, you will need to purchase a launch kit at a hobby shop.

PHENOMENAL FLIGHTS

Mad Science invites you to fly with science in our exciting Camp Number 5. Following are some topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. RED HOT ROBOTS (For entering grades 2nd - 6th)
Mad Science invites you to join us this summer in our Mad Science robot world in our exciting Camp Number 6. Learn about the uses of robots in the world. Spend time playing with our super cool red-hot robots. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home to "live" with you. Following are some topics you will explore during this fun five-day camp. These are only a sample of some of the activities that you will be doing each day. The topics will not necessarily follow this order. However, each of these topics will be included at some point in the camp.
Camp No. 8
YOUNG SCIENTISTS (For ages 4 - 5) Offered at Madison Park Elementary only
This exciting Mad Science camp offers young scientists (age 4 - 5) an introduction to basic environmental science. Each session is devoted to different aspects of the garden, allowing children to progressively enrich their understanding of how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them. During the course of each three-hour session, children will perform hands-on experiments, play themed games and enjoy a snack and story related to the session's themes. Children will also make take-home projects each day.

Soil and Seeds |
Learn where things grow, the different characteristics of seeds, and explore what seeds become. Dissect seeds, learn about the different ways that seeds are planted in nature and how plants travel through their seeds. Make your own seed badge to take home. |

Sun, Wind & Rain |
Discover what types of weather are vital for a healthy garden. Learn to identify basic weather conditions, and perform an experiment about water and wind shaping the garden. Make your own sun visor to wear while you work in the garden. |

Plants and Leaves |
Explore the different parts of plants and leaves. Learn more about plant characteristics through activities like leaf rubbings and examining plants and leaves under a microscope designed for young scientists. Make a Budding Bean necklace to take home. |

Flowers, Fruits & Veggies |
Investigate what plants produce. Examine the different parts of flowers, fruits and vegetables using your microscope. Create your very own plants and flowers in your journal and make beatiful art prints of fruits and vegetables to take home. |

Butterflies, Ladybugs & Bees |
Examine other inhabitants of the garden, including butterflies, ladybugs and bees, and learn how these creatures help the garden grow. Learn about pollination, how bugs see and basic bug anatomy. Make a butterfly bracelet to take home along with your camp journal from the week. |
