Mad Science is on a mission to spark the imagination and curiosity of children ages 3-12 by providing them with fun, entertaining and educational activities conducted in schools, daycares, camps, homes, recreation centers, etc.
Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, our parent company, the Mad Science Group, has developed over 200 hours of original science content with more than 2,000 unique interactive activities for children, delivered through an extensive network of 150 franchised offices in 20 countries.
Mad Science of the Bay Area began as Mad Science of the South Bay back in 1997. The franchise came under new ownership in 1999 and moved its headquarters from Milpitas to Newark. After incorporating more territory into its service area, the business name changed to Mad Science of the Bay Area.
Mad Science of the Bay Area serves Santa Clara County and San Mateo County as well as most of the cities in southern Alameda County, including San Leandro, Castro Valley, and Fremont.
We conduct classes at hundreds of schools and preschools throughout our service area as well as perform at birthday parties and special events. We stand behind our programs and ensure satisfaction. Our instructors are thoroughly trained before entering the classroom. And all instructors are fingerprinted, cleared by the Department of Justice and have a negative TB test on file.
We believe we have a responsibility to deliver a high quality service to our community. We also understand the importance of customer service and strive to make it easy for our clients to do business with our office. We aim to partner with our customers, schools and parents in providing a rewarding science experience.
