Daily Rates
Camp rates will vary based on location and date. Most bookings will be taken through the venue where the camp is being held. Discounts and Special Offers are subject to availibility and will vary with location.
Catering
Children attending a full day course are asked to bring a packed lunch to be eaten in a supervised area during the lunch break. Those attending a half day session should bring a snack to have during the morning/afternoon break. Mad Science Staff will not provide any food during the course of the camp day. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that staff are aware of any severe food allergies in case of emergency.
Booking and Cancellation Procedure
Bookings handled by the camp venue are subject to the terms and conditions of the venue. Contact the specific venue for more details. Bookings taken through Mad Science can be made by debit or credit card over the phone or by cheque through the post. A refund will only be issued if cancellation occurs 30 days prior to the start of the camp otherwise credit may be issued. If a camp is cancelled due to lack of interest, a full refund will be issued to all paying customers.
General
Mad Science reserves the right to cancel a camp if the minimum number of children do not sign up. If a camp has to be cancelled due to inclement weather, Mad Science will not offer a refund, however every effort will be made to provide a place at an alternative camp during the same holiday period or during a future holiday period.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the camp runs as advertised, Mad Science reserves the right to change the content of a session or topic without any prior notice. Where any child or parent/guardian of a child has a complaint about any aspect of the camp, he/she should address the matter immediately in writing to the relevant Branch Manager. Our aim is always to ensure we delivery high quality sessions. When we are aware of the problem, we will endeavour to rectify it immediately. No recompensation can be considered for any issue which was not brought to our attention at a time when it was possible to resolve the issue.
Mad Science Behaviour Policy
Mad Science reserves the right to exclude children from the Mad Science Holiday Camp upon failure to follow the Behavioural Policy (available here). Mad Science also reserves the right to exclude any child who is disruptive to the extent that it affects the safe running of the session. We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our children so they can participate in fun learning sessions in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.
