Mad Science In-School Workshops are designed to enhance your school's science curriculum by providing topics based on National Curriculum Standards. Topics are listed based on suitability to age group.

Key Stage 1 Workshops

These workshops are designed to bring science to younger students in an exciting and fun way. All topics will be explored using key vocabulary appropriate to children in Years 1 and 2 (aged 5-7). More information on the relation of these workshops to science criteria is available here.

Key Stage 2 Workshops

For a more advanced study, these workshops will be geared towards older students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 (aged 7-11). Any of the Key Stage 1 workshops can be adapted to go further in-depth for Key Stage 2 students using more advanced vocabulary and additional activities. Nursery Workshops

Unlike Key Stage 1 and 2 Workshops, Nursery-level workshops last thirty minutes and are suitable for children in Nursery and Reception (ages 3-5). Topics include:
