Rockets & Robots Camp

What would it take to build a robot to clean up your messy room? Just what exactly is a robot anyway?  Learn about the history of robot design, Asimov’s robot law, program a robot to do a series of maneuvers, and participate in robot relays in this interactive and fun course.

Children will discover the principals of flight, the parts of a rocket, rocket design, the stages of rocket flight, and the history of space travel.  Students will also build their own model rocket to take home, and participate in launches of several model rockets of varying sizes and designs.

NOTE: there is an additional equipment fee for this camp. This fee is reflected in the price of the camp.
