Scout and Guide Programs

Explore science with a hands-on Science experience at your meetings. With professional lesson plans, unique equipment, and animated instructors Mad Science Workshops offer the children  truly engaging learning experiences.    Mad Science Workshops help meet Brownie, Guides, Cubs, and Scout badge requirements.

The Mad Scientist comes with the kit of experiments and works with the children at your location. During the hour there are demonstrations by the Mad Scientist, hands on activities for the children, and always an individual activity with a take-home product for each one. The fee also includes a set of Pre/Post notes for the leaders with fun experiments that  you can do with the children as well as resource information.

As the workshop includes many hands-on experiments for the children we prefer to have no more than 25 children in the group in order to maximize the children’s enjoyment and learning experience.
