Spectacular Shows
These are fast paced, high energy, exciting performances that combine a little bit of magic with a lot of science to generate a whole bunch of fun. Children from the audience participate in all the demonstrations and are sure to be left with memories that will last well past the event. Our Spectacular Shows can be presented in a variety of settings and venues and can accomodate hundreds of spectators.
These shows are popular for school assemblies, community events, grand openings, Corporate children's parties, Reward/Recognition Shows, Beginning/End of School, Scout and Guide Banquets and Summer Entertainment at camps and daycares...... anytime you have a group of children.
Show Topics Are:
1. Fire and Ice
Explores exothermic chemical reactions and the wonders of dry ice with Mad Science flash paper, an “explosive” bottle blast, a crazy bubble shower and creepy, foggy effects.
2. Up Up and Away
Introduces the principals of air pressure through the creation and flight of a hot air balloon, giant smoke rings from our Vortex Generator, levitating balls, a real hovercraft and movie special effects
3. Spin Pop Boom
Investigates the forces of gravity, inertia and the basic principles of chemistry with flying water glasses, a flaming Didgeridoo, a miraculous Genie in the bottle, and an exploding foam fountain.
4. Tobacco Free
This highly interactive assembly includes fascinating science demonstrations and special effects that highlight the health risks of tobacco use. Students see the impact of second-hand smoke using a smoking chamber and witness a simulation of the effects
5. Winter Holiday Special Event
Ever wonder how Santa fits down your chimney? Learn the properties of flaming wrapping paper and watch as we recreate Rudolph's foggy Christmas night. If you have been a nice boy or girl you might even see Santa's sleigh
6. Spook-tacular
Features floating eyeballs, levitating monsters, fire breathing dragons, creepy potions and really cool special effects from the dungeons of the Mad Science laboratory. The Mad Science Spook-tacular is a hair-raising experience.
