Red Hot Robots Summer Camp

Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! In this full week of half-days, learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. Discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home with you! Recommended for children age 7-12

Codes, Claws & Constellations Summer Camp

Come prepared to do some decoding, as there is an entire unit on secret messages, where you will learn how to communicate using special codes. Children will gain an increased appreciation for the earth and discover what role science can play in preserving our planet. Learn about the Science of Sport and what football players, ballet dancers, and scientists have in common. Explore the world of nature and the next day embark on a space mission and learn how astronauts live in Space. Recommended for ages 5 to 10

 Lights Chemistry Action Summer Camp

Children will learn about cameras. How does film capture light and store images? They’ll mix, mush and brew together different chemicals to create things they can use in a hands-on outdoor chemistry lab. They’ll walk on the wild side and learn all sorts of facts about birds and bugs. Teamwork and an obstacle course will lead the children to discover how useful simple machines can be. Finally, they will get a chance to build bridges and a four foot high Geodesic Dome when they become junior engineers for the day. Recommended for ages 5 to 10

NASA: Journey Into Outer Space Summer Camp

Join our Academy of Future Space Explorers and take to the Moon, Mars, Stars…and Beyond!  We’ll study stunning Space Phenomena while we unlock the mysteries of meteors. Learn about Living in Space by working in a model space station just like a real Astronaut!  And how could we study Space without learning the secrets of Space Travel & Rocket Science!  This program is literally out of this World! . Recommended for ages 7 to 12.

Science Explorer Summer Camp

Participate in an archeological find, bring home a dinosaur tooth or samples from your excavating. Explore the wonders of nature in your own backyard. How do bugs  live? What do ants eat? Become a Mad Science Investigator. Campers will use forensic science to track down an elusive ice cream thief.  Atttend Mad Science Flight Academy and learn about the basic principles of flight as you build and test your own planes. Step into a chemist’s shoes, mix and dissolve a variety of everyday ingredients to create amazing exothermic and endothermic reactions. For ages 5 to 10.
