Become a Mad Science INSTRUCTOR and have your own Mad Science AFTER-SCHOOL CLASS!

Programs are held at public and private elementary schools after school (around 3pm). Our 8-week program runs three times throughout the school year: October to December, January to March, April to June. Some of our topics for the 08-09 school year include: MAGNETIC MAGIC, CRAZY CHEMISTRY, SONIC SOUNDS, OPTICAL ILLUSIONS, and MORE!!

All lesson plans and equipment are provided. A background in science, education, or drama is an asset. Experience working with children is preferred. Availability 2-4 weekday afternoons required (one-hour classes begin between 2:30-3:30). Must have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for being a Mad Scientist at our other events, such as work shops and parties. Great for student schedules or for retirees looking for something to fill their days! References provided for post-secondary education programs and/or PDP applications.
