Birthday Party Hints 
PARTY HINTS

The following hints will help make your Mad Science Party run smoothly:

  1. Have the children arrive at least 15 minutes before the Mad Scientist is scheduled to perform. The Mad Scientist will arrive about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to set up and prepare.

     

  2. An ideal party location would be an open space for the children to sit on the floor and have some working space beside them. A room that can be darkened is preferred. Mad Science Parties generally work best when held indoors.

     

  3. Our parties involve hands-on and interactive activities that are appropriate for children 5 and older. Younger siblings are welcome to watch but generally do not participate.

     

  4. Have a 6’ or 8' (approximate size) table ready for the Mad Scientist on the day of the party. The table should be located near an electrical outlet.

     

  5. We will need access to a sink; however, the sink need not be in the same room in which we are presenting.

     

  6. Parties are mess free. We will place a mat on the floor during the hands-on activity to protect your floor.

     

  7. Of course, we clean up after ourselves when we’re finished. The Mad Scientist will need about 15 minutes time for packing and cleaning up after the party.                                                                                    
  8. There are no up front payments, deposits or reservation fees on your part. We do not collect payment until after we have completed the party. We are confident in the quality of our programs and we are certain that you will be satisfied. Please have payment ready after the party is over.

     

  9. Please be aware that a gratuity is NOT expected. If, however, you feel that the Mad Scientist has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND your expectations and you choose to pay a gratuity, please pay it to the Mad Scientist separately from your party payment.

     

  10. A travel fee will apply for parties taking place outside of the City of Windsor limits.

  11. BE PREPARED TO HAVE FUN AND LEARN ABOUT SCIENCE!
