MAD SCIENCE MAKE & TAKE FUN STATIONS

Children get involved in trying their own hands-on experiments.

  • Hands-on excitement for junior scientists everywhere.
  • May be added as additional entertainment before or after anyone of our shows.
  • Recommended for circulating, "round-robin" audiences of 50+ children with 10-12 children at a time rotating through in short intervals.
  • Can accommodate about 80-100 children per hour depending on topic.
  • Children get to do a Mad Science experiment and take what they have created home with them.
  • 12 different activities to choose from.

Fun Stations are tremendously popular and filled with interesting experiments for children of all ages.

Balance Buddy Station

Have you ever wondered what is meant by the phrase "centre of gravity" (CG)? Well now you can find out everything you ever wanted to know about balance points but were afraid to ask by making your own "balance buddy" CG demonstrator.

Be Tobacco Free

This interactive fun station will get children completely grossed out by the effects of tobacco. Children will be made aware of the danger of using tobacco products while making their very own tobacco slime!Bring on the Slime! Discover the ooey, gooey origins of plastic and see why plastic can be so hard to break. Make your own slippery slime to go!

Have you been to the carnival lately? Ever wonder how that fluffy cotton candy is made? Taste the science behind the "magical" transformation of solid sugar crystals to spun floss. Yummy!

Canister Cannon

Uncover the secrets of the effects that acids and bases have on our daily lives. Learn to test for acids and bases, and create your own C02 canister! (This station works best if done outside)

Hovercraft Station

Who says it never snows in July! Make the weather change by transforming a clear day into a snowy night. Make your own "snow globe" that you can shake to create a winter holiday.

Ever wonder how super balls are made? What makes them bounce so high? Join us in the super ball factory and transform special crystals into real super balls that you can bounce all the way home!

Wacky Waves Station

Discover how and why waves form and move. Capture the motion of the ocean in a wacky wave bottle that you can take home!

Water Rocket Launch

Discover the science behind water guns and watch as we launch a water bottle in the air. Take home your very own Mad Science tattoo. (This station works best if done outside)
