Local company celebrates 12-years of inspiring the next generation of scientists

Pennington, NJ With more than 35 instructors reaching tens of thousands of children each year, Pennington-based Mad Science is building a successful business by engaging, entertaining and inspiring the next generation of scientists for the past 12 years.

Each day, Mad Scientists clad in white lab coats go into local schools, camps, community centers, libraries, parties, and scout groups to demonstrate that there is much more to science than what children read in textbooks. 

The presentations include bubbling potions, slime, periscopes, vortex generators, indoor fireworks, laser shows, and many other spectacular experiments that get kids excited about the practical aspects of science.

Our goal is to spark the imagination of children and turn them on to science, says Mad Science franchise owner Vance Fox  We do this through a combination of dramatic hands on fun at the same time applying pure science principles.  There is nothing more exciting than seeing a child grasp a scientific concept, have fun doing it and then wanting more.

Since Mad Science of West New Jersey (www.madscienceofnj.com) began in 1996, it has reached an estimated 700,000 children in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area.  Our proven programs are based on solid educational concepts and combines all the elements kids are looking for, says Fox  So were not surprised when a parent or teacher tells us a child has a newfound interest in science.
