I just wanted to give you some feedback regarding the Mad Science Program last week. I have not seen Bryson more animated about a learning project. He talked about each of the science experiments in great detail and with much enthusiasm! Bryson was able to recall the materials used, the steps involved and the results of each experiment.
It was one of the most exciting events of his educational career thus far. I believe it had a profoundly positive effect on him. He has always enjoyed science, this presentation made it more "real" for him...not just reading from a book or watching a video, or even experiments in the classroom. The Mad Science 8 week FCAT Pak program has been an excellent addition to my science curriculum. You have very effectively re-enforced the concepts that we are trying to teach to our students. Last year I was the principal at Myakka City Elementary School in Manatee County. We scheduled your group to work with our 5th graders for 8 weeks and our FCAT results were amazing. Our students were given a clear understanding of the concepts and applications and were truly turned on to science. This year I was asked to take over another school in Manatee County....Tillman Elementary and would like to provide the students at this school with the same experience in Science.
